Having a bit of a makeover

I thought it was about time I made a few changes to the blog as the old theme was a bit dated so I have gone for something a bit fresher and cleaner. So bear with me whilst I update the site, including updating the logo pages for my logo designs etc.

I am working on some ideas for revamping RedSentence too (my freelance graphic design project), got lots of ideas but nothing I am 100% happy with yet, so might take a while! In the meantime here is a graffiti style logo I created.

Hopefully I am hoping to add a gallery of photos taken with my favourite iPhone app – Hipstamatic. I have quite in my collection now, as my iPhone never leaves my side. Here are a couple of shots I took on a recent walk along the canal, I found some quite meaningful graffiti!

Here are a couple of new logo designs I have worked on recently. Sterling-Lynch is a new property development company, developing luxury eco-friendly homes. Also below are some large format banners which have been put up around the building site of their first development in Ashford near Heathrow. This included created an artist’s impression of the front of the development.

Experimenting with HDR photography

Here are a few logo designs I have worked on in recent months for various projects. A couple of them have websites in development too so I will post those as I make progress on them. I will update my portfolio pages when I get time to show these are more!

I have been a bit rubbish with posting new work recently so I will make a start at getting some new posts up with some recent design work from the past few months. I have also reworked the site somewhat so you may notice a few changes here and there.

One of my biggest projects recently has been www.wowthankyou.co.uk, an ecommerce site selling handmade gifts, all of which are made in the UK. The site is fully ecommerce enabled and is backed up by a blog, regular competitions, and includes regular features on suppliers and a fully interactive craft fair calendar. The site is programmed predominantly in php/MySQL. Pop on over and take a look!

Making a few changes…

After being very slack on this for a few months, I am finally making a few changes to the blog so please bear with me over the next couple of weeks! All the original content is still here but I am redesigning the site and creating some new features, and will add loads more work.

New York, New York – So good they named it twice.

I spent a long weekend in New York City recently, managed to take plenty of photos, please take a look at my Flickr page to see two new sets – one black and white and one colour. I also purchased a Lomo camera whilst there, film yet to be developed but watch this space for some imagery!

Logo Design Update

Sorry for the lack of activity on here past month, been busy with working and training (did the Windsor Half Marathon a couple of weeks ago, thanks those of you who sponsored me I raised ¬£425 for Cancer Research).

Here’s some new logo designs I have been working on recently. Have some other projects underway too including a couple of website designs, will post those once completed.

New skateboard deck graphics

One of my robot illustrations will be appearing on a United Skates skateboard deck very soon. I still need to give him a name though I have no idea, answers on the back of a postcard please! Hopefully some of his friends will be making their way onto some decks soon too.
